Sara 2 Months

I feel like we started to really get into the swing of this whole family of 4 thing this month. The first month I was nervous to go out of the house, but this month I successfully navigated a few shopping trips, library, zoo, and park trips on my own. Something that honestly bugs me that people keep saying or asking is .."Don't you just love having a girl?..Aren't girls the best?..Isn't it so much more fun to dress a girl?" I love little Sara and it is fun having a girl, but honestly I love having and raising a boy just as much. I  like dressing Jaxon. I love his personality, and I love hers. I know I used to say stuff like that when I found out my friends were having boys, so I guess I'll just watch what I say more now.

Her face in this picture cracks me up!
Sara Month 2:
- We went in for her 2 month checkup and Sara got her first round of immunizations. She sucked down the oral one like it was candy and the nurse commented how she should have saved that one for after the shots. I didn't think I would cry this time, but I totally did.. I know it's best, but it still just breaks my heart to see my baby poked.
- Sara is 13 lbs. (75%), 24" long (95%), and has a head circumference of 15" (50%). I'm always a little proud to have big healthy babies, but it does make me a little sad they don't stay little longer!
-Started to follow Jaxon around with her eyes. She likes to watch him play and sometimes gets a little nervous when he starts getting to close to her, lol.
- Went to church for the first time (5 weeks old)
- Is smiling a lot! She is so smiley and happy. At her check up Dr Dominguez looked right at her and said hi. She gave him, a big smile and he said "Wow she's really aware and responsive." She smiles for lots of people but her biggest smiles are saved for Mom, and Dad.
- She is super talkative. She loves to "oo" and "ahh." One night I layed on the ground next to her and for almost 30 minutes she just talked back and forth with me. It cracks us up/ makes my heart melt. She has a lot to say and loves attention.
- She is so easy going! She's so easy to take places and will sit in her swing, chair, or bed until she is ready to eat. I'm glad she's happy to hang out, but I still love having her nap on me and usually lay with her on the couch for one nap a day while Jax watches a show... Baby cuddles are just the best and I'm going to enjoy them while I can!
-She slept through the night for the 1st time this month!! Seriously MIRACLES happen! Jaxon and sleep just didn't happen for the first year of his life so I don't know what happened, but we scored with this girl. I usually dream feed her around 10:30-11 PM and she wakes up around 3:30 and then again at 7:30am, but there have been a few nights she sleeps through and doesnt wake up until 6:30!
- Went swimming for the first time this month!

Went in this month for my OB check up..
We LOVE Dr. Haun!
