Meteor Shower

This week was crazy! Brad and I were super busy with finishing up school projects and homework, and on top of everything we were both terribly sick the entire week. When Saturday came around we were both finally feeling better and it was nice to be able to spend the day together. We spent time outside working in the yard and went for a motorcycle ride. We went out to eat with some of our best friends at Royal Express ( Brads favorite little Chinese restaurant in Logan) and then watched a movie. At the end of the night Brads best friend Matt had the idea to drive out to go watch the meteor shower. We've both never seen one before so we decided to pack up lots of blankets and pillows in the back of Matt's truck and drive out around 12:30 at night to go watch it. It was the perfect night for looking at the stars and watching meteors pass through the sky. The three of us had fun looking for meteors and would get really excited when we saw big ones light up the sky. It was a great way to end the week and definitely something we will do again! :)

Spring Break!

So I know it was about a month ago, but here it is anyway....:) Another wonderful benefit of going to Utah State is that we have a SPRING BREAK! Believe me, this year it was well needed. We had so much fun visiting and spending time with family and we were way sad to see it all come to an end. We left Saturday afternoon for Vegas. Trent, Megan, and Heather picked us up and at the airport and were ready to go do something fun. We went and rode the New York, New York roller coaster twice and then made a quick stop at In N Out and Yogurtland (my favorite!) before we got back to the house. Sunday and Monday we spent time with my family. It was so fun to be in Las Vegas for a couple days and to be able to hang out with my parents and siblings at home.

Tuesday morning we met Jared in the Las Vegas airport and flew off to Texas! Tuesday night we went to a local barbeque place in Seguin with the Burns family. They had my favorite thing, fried pickles! Wednesday we spent with the Burns and hanging out with all the kids. Thursday is when the first official Theurer family reunion began. We went to a fun park with all the kids that morning and then drove to San Antonio and checked into our hotel. That night all 17 of us walked from our hotel to the river walk to have dinner at a great Mexican restaurant, where a mariachi band even sang to us :).

Brad and I both agreed that our favorite day was Friday, because the whole family went to Sea World. Most of us had never been so we were super excited! It was so much fun to go to the different shows they had with the animals and to ride the rides. We were in the park for 9 hours! But it was so much fun and the kids were great! After Sea world we pigged out on some more awesome Texas barbeque at Rudy's. You buy meat by the pound and eat it on butcher paper...haha Brad was in Heaven.
Saturday we hung around the hotel, did some swimming and shopping and then went to the children's museum in down town San Antonio. The day ended with some pizza and a pretty competitive family game night. Sunday we took an official family picture and then it was time for us to head to the airport. It was so fun to spend time with Brad's entire family, because it was something I had never done before and probably won't happen very often. We were sad to go home and start school on Monday, but we had an awesome break!
